Maternity Shoot || You+Me

Zu meinem Geburtstag hat Derrek mir das aller beste Geschenk gemacht: ein Schwangerschaft-Shooting. Ich hatte so eine tolle und angenehme erste Schwangerschaft und will diese auf Ewig so in Erinnerung behalten. Wir haben eine tolle Fotografin auf Instagram entdeckt, die sich mit uns am Avila Beach, in San Luis Obispo, getroffen hat. Wenn wir schon in Kalifornien leben, dann natürlich ein Shooting am Strand :)
Es waren zwei wunderschöne Tage! Wir haben uns ein Hotel am Strand gebucht, nur Derrek und ich, noch einmal ganz alleine. Nach dem Shooting waren wir in diesem kleinem italienischem Restaurant, lecker Essen und lange Gespräche. Zum Frühstück haben wir früher ausge-checked, um unser Frühstück mit Meerblick zu geniessen- es war so traumhaft schön, dass wir vergessen haben Fotos vom Ausblick und dem leckerem Essen zu machen :) das soll was heissen!!!

For my birthday, Derrek gave me the best gift ever: a maternity shoot.
I had such an amazing and relaxed first pregnancy, I wanted to treasure it forever and what better way to take pictures on the beach :) I found this awesome photographer on Instagram, and she met us in San Luis Obispo.
Those two days were simply amazing! We booked a hotel right on the beach, for the last time just You and me ♡ After the shooting at Avila Beach, we found this adorably cute Italian Restaurant, where we spend the whole evening with delicious food and long conversations. In the morning we checked out early to get breakfast with a breathtaking Ocean view. The food was delicious and the scenic was so beautiful, that we forgot to take any pictures :)

I LOVE sand dollars and Derrek found this tiny perfect sand dollar at our maturity shoot, for little Peanut :) ||

Life's Journey || October

Dies ist meine erste Woche zu Hause- keine Arbeit mehr!!! Ich hatte mir vorher eine To-Do Liste gemacht, um bloss nicht faul auf der Couch zu landen und ungeduldig auf Peanut zu warten.

Montag: hab ich endlich mein Auto waschen lassen, der ganze Sand und Dreck von den zwei Kids ist nun aus meinem Auto (das war ein halber Sandkasten). Danach hat Derrek Peanuts Auto Sitz eingebaut wooop Das war schon irgendwie ein aufregender und grosser Moment für uns!
Danach habe ich den restlichen Tag damit verbracht, alle seine Sachen zu waschen, wie Bettzeug, Klamotten etc. Gizmo hat natürlich hilfsbereit seine Schnauze überall reingesteckt, um sicher zu gehen das alles seine Ordnung hat :) Der ist so fasziniert bei all den neuen Sachen. Wir sind sehr gespannt wie er auf seinen "kleinen Bruder" reagiert, wenn er endlich hier ist...

This was my first week at home from work. I made myself a to-do list so I don't end up lazy on the
 coach, waiting impatient for little Peanut.

Monday: I finally got my car washed, all the kids sand and dirt is out now (half a sandbox haha)
Afterwards Derrek installed Peanut's car seat :) Such a sweet moment for us, makes it so much more real. The rest of that day I spend washing his stuff, like bed sheets, clothes etc.

Gizmo was such a nosy helper making sure everything is in the right place. Every time I open Peanut's closet he wants to sniff around. We are so curious how he will act when his "little brother" arrives...

Er hat beschlossen, genug mit Waschen und wegräumen- Zeit zum schmusen und abschlabbern :)

Gizmo is enjoying these cuddles a lot these days, also he's so happy me being at home now all day :) ||
Gizmo geniesst es, dass ich ab jetzt so viel zu Hause bin und ist immer ganz nah an meinem Bauch :)

Dies ist meine 37te Woche plus 4 Tage, morgen ist wieder ein Doktorbesuch fällig (einmal pro Woche). Letzte Woche hatte der Doktor mir schon bestätigt, dass Peanut seinen kleinen Kopf unten hat. Mal schaun was er uns morgen sagt...

This is now my 37th Week and Day 4, that means my weekly doctors appointment is due tomorrow. Lets see what the doc will tell us tomorrow...

Mexico

#TravelTuesday || Mexico 

Mexico was our belated Honeymoon (March '15)and it was simply amazing. Shortly after we booked this trip we found out that we are pregnant. So little Peanut was with us and made it even a better trip- even though I had to drink virgin Margaritas and water, but I wouldn't want to change a thing.

Mexiko war unsere verspätete Hochzeitsreise (März '15) und es war einfach traumhaft. Kurz nachdem wir diese Reise gebucht hatten, haben wir erfahren das wir schwanger sind. Somit war das Peanuts erste Reise :) und er hat es umso schöner gemacht. Obwohl ich auf die vielen leckeren Margaritas verzichten musste- Derrek hat dann um so mehr getrunken haha
